To Lose the Sun
A great book! Couldn't put it down! I fell in love with the characters. Can't wait for the next book about the people from Adentta.

The characters in the story are so likeable that it is almost impossible to put the book down! Their names are perfectly suited to each character and are delightfully real and funny. The science in the story is intriguing and integral but not to the point of the reader getting lost behind it. To Lose the Sun was one of the most enjoyable books I've read in a very long time!

To Lose the Sun is one of the most intriguing books I have ever read. It brings out the adventurer inside; you picture yourself in the story as if you were there the whole time. The books start off a little slow for the first few chapters but out of nowhere the books takes off. There is so much going on. You follow Pred, Jait, and Tymber the Hunters of the Village on their adventures. You relate to these characters on a strange level. You feel their struggles, worries, excitement and joy. When the Village is troubled by the loss of their sun, it is up to the Hunters and Drel, the Village Keeper, to solve the problem. There are so many twist and surprises throughout the story. You never expect what comes.
It is the curiosity you have that drives you on into the story. As someone who isn’t a big fan of Science Fictions stories, I have to say that I have a new respect for the genre. The world Don has created is very beautiful and captivating. I wish I could join the travelers on the adventures and see the sights they see. You get to read about a Village that is a very primeval and watch as it develops into a stronger more informed civilization. This book is a must read, and must have for anyone who enjoys a story worth getting lost in.
