Author Don Luenser is a retired administrator from the Louisiana Community and Technical College System. During his tenure with the college system, he held the position of Forest Technology Instructor, Curriculum Specialist, Dean of Workforce Development, Regional Chief Workforce Development Officer, and Assistant Campus Dean. Don has been married to his wife, Sharon, since 1979 and live with their son, Marcus, in historic Natchitoches, Louisiana.
Writing and having published, To Lose the Sun, The Caverns of Adentta, and Our Only Other Chance, has been one of the most rewarding and exciting things I've ever done. Of course, I didn't start out to write three novels, in fact, I started out just to write a story that I had bouncing around in my head for years. The story grew until it became a near novel sized story and with the insistence of my sister Mary, I attempted to get the story published. To my surprise, I was successful. It's been a great experience and I'm sure my writing career isn't over.
